What is ParentVOICE?

 

ParentVOICE is a family-run organization, whose staff consists mainly of trained parents and caregivers of youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns.

 

Services offered are:

• ·         Trainings/workshops for parents, youth, provider agencies-at no cost to families

• ·         Attend meetings with families as a support and mentor

• ·         A specialized lending library of resources for families and professionals

• ·         Monthly support groups for adults and youth                                                                               

• ·         Recruiting and training families to serve on committees/work teams

• ·         MeckCARES Orientation classes for enrolled parents and youth

• ·         Special mentoring for fathers and male caregivers

•           Annual family/community events
